How to Get to Montreal, Canada

Montreal is fairly close to the northern part of the United States, so it can be a fun road trip if you live close by. But if you’re not from the surrounding area, you’ll want to fly into Montreal. In this case, you’ll fly into the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (airport code: YUL). This airport is obviously in Montreal, so you’ll be close to your Airbnb. This airport is about a fifteen-minute drive from downtown Montreal.

How to Get Around Montreal, Canada

Montreal has a great public transportation system. This city offers lots of options, such as the public transit, the metro subway system, bus stops, and train stations. You could easily get through an entire trip to Montreal by only using public transportation and the occasional Uber.

If you want more control over your transportation, though, you can always rent a car while you’re in Montreal. There are several car rental companies in the city, but I recommend Hertz. If you’d like the most affordable option, check out Rentalcars.com!
