San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. This city is known for the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and hilly roads. There are lots of places to visit within San Francisco, including the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Chinatown district. Not to mention, the city is known for all the amazing eateries around town! San Francisco is filled with lots of great Airbnbs, but I’ve compiled a list of some of the best Airbnbs in San Francisco to help make your stay the best it can be!

How to Get to San Francisco

San Francisco is located on the west coast of California, right in the middle of the state. California is a huge state, so you will most likely want to fly into the city. The most common airport people fly into is the San Francisco International Airport (airport code: SFO).

This airport is only 30 minutes from the heart of San Francisco. You can either call a taxi to the airport for a ride to your Airbnb, or you can utilize the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) commuter rail.

How to Get Around San Francisco

San Francisco has a great public transportation system. Muni, San Francisco’s bus and metro system, travels throughout the entire city. Muni has cable cars, trains, buses, and the F-line heritage streetcar. The Muni Metro goes underground in some areas. Depending on where you’re traveling around the city, you may also be able to utilize BART, which is the Bay Area’s commuter rail system.

You can also rent a car at one of the many car rental companies in San Francisco. Hertz is the most efficient rental car company, but if you prefer to just look for the best price, I recommend RentalCars.com. No matter what method of transportation you choose, San Francisco makes travel convenient for its visitors.
